Fisheries Management Plans consultation
Fisheries Management Plans (FMPs) set out the plans and policies to secure the long-term sustainability of UK fish stocks. All 43 existing FMPs will go through a public consultation, giving interested parties the opportunity to give their views. The AIFCA is coordinating the IFCA’s national response to the front runner FMPs. Consultations for the first six FMPs opened in July 2023 and close as early as 1st October 2023.
