The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Conservation Congress is held every four years, the largest global gathering for advancing nature conservation. It features a Forum, an Exhibition and a Members’ Assembly. The next IUCN Congress will take place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from 9 to 15 October 2025.
The IUCN Congress Forum takes place over the first four days of Congress and is a vibrant platform for dialogue, learning, and innovation, where participants from diverse sectors come together to exchange ideas, showcase solutions, and build partnerships to achieve global conservation and sustainable development goals.
The call for proposals for Forum sessions and art exhibits at the Congress is now open and due by February 7th. Individuals, organisations, and coalitions are invited to submit session proposals that inspire action, foster partnerships, and spotlight cutting-edge conservation efforts.
