On Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th January 2023, at Royal Geographical Society, London Tony Tomlinson MBE, Chairman of the Association of IFCAs presented at the Coastal Futures Conference. Coastal Futures is the largest ocean conference of its kind in the UK, briefing a huge audience on sustainability issues in the marine and coastal environment.
The conference is returning to the Royal Geographical Society (RGS) in London with a hybrid option based on successfully engaging over 500 people online during 2021 and 2022.
The Chairman spoke on the achievements of the IFCAs as well as opportunities for inshore fisheries management in the context of the Fisheries Act, 2020.
